Double quick deal on the triangle

Miller Birch has completed another letting on its highly successful ng2 business park.

The latest deal on The Triangle was completed in double quick time, the new tenants taking possession within two months of agreeing heads of terms.

Chaucer Holdings plc has taken a new full repairing and insuring ten-year lease on the 4,000sq ft Unit 4A of The Triangle, at a rent understood to be around £20-per-sq ft. It will trade under the name of Richard Egger Insurance.

Richard Egger, from Richard Egger Insurance, said: "We are a new name in the insurance world and offer specialist insurance policies for all aspects of motorsport activities, capitalising on my own 38 years of experience competing in motor sports."

The Grade A Pavilion office offers onsite parking, independent access, raised floors, solar controlled glazing and comfort cooling in a convenient fringe of city centre location off Queen's Drive.

Ann Segaram, of Innes England, said: "The completion of the letting finalises yet another successful deal on this phase on ng2. With office 3b in solicitor's hands, only 4b remains on phase two. We are delighted that due to Richard Egger's strength of covenant and the excellent lease terms agreed, the sale of this investment is now in solicitor's hands."

Ben Glover, of Miller Birch, added: "The company joins a growing list of discerning occupiers who demand high quality and highly efficient office space in an attractive environment."

Miller Birch is now planning the fourth phase of the Triangle, a further 27,800sq ft of Pavilion Offices. With in excess of 70% the existing Triangle occupiers relocating from Nottingham City Centre, local demand remains very strong.
