Nottingham firm's India growth

The Nottingham-based Payroll and Business Solutions UK is expanding its services into Asia to support clients based in India.

Company boss Pam Pindar said she was dealing with an increasing number of clients with staff in India.

PBS is to provide a complete payroll service for Aastra Telecom and Laing Infrastructure Management. Both are extending their workforce in India.

Laing is working in less developed countries to expand local infrastructure services while Aastra is expanding its sales team across the world.

Mrs Pindar, managing director of PBS, said: "International outsourcing is a rapidly growing area as businesses look to cut their back office costs while maintaining consistency for their employees.

"Employing people internationally brings its own challenges for businesses and PBS can handle the whole payroll process, from setting it up and ensuring it is in line with the country's tax and legal legislation to ensuring the process is always delivered correctly and on time.

"We also provide one point of contact for our international clients, making it easy for them to check and discuss their payroll which gives them instant peace of mind.

"Over the past six months we have had an increasing number of inquiries from current and prospective clients looking to set up payrolls in India. I see this as a rapidly growing area for our business."

Mrs Pindar said it has joined up with payroll partners in Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai to provide payroll service.

She added: "A lot of firms are paying staff in India and we now have 35 partners around the world including Russia and Afghanistan."
