And Waterworld boss Mo Chaudry has taken on the role of vice chairman of the group, which has more than 350 members.
Mr Samani, a former managing director of The Leek Post & Times, said: "Although ethnic entrepreneurs make a huge positive impact on the Staffordshire economy, they can face particular challenges, so there is a proven need for a dedicated association to work with them.
"We aim to provide guidance and support for businesses of all sizes, whether they are starting up or are established firms looking to expand.
"We are also the voice of the local ethnic business community and represent their interests to external organisations."
