All of the reports are free to access, although you will be asked to register with the site before downloading some of the content. Registration is quick and there is no charge.

Bank of England
In its Monetary Stability role, the Bank of England produces regular publications that summarise its analysis and findings on the economy.
- The Inflation Report is a quarterly publication that sets out the detailed economic analysis and inflation projections on which the Bank's Monetary Policy Committee bases its interest rate decisions, and presents an assessment of the prospects for UK inflation over the next two years.
- The Agents' Summary of Business Conditions is a monthly summary of reports compiled by the Bank's Agents, following discussions with around 700 businesses around the UK, including in the East Midlands. ***Now updated for July***

Intelligence East Midlands is the regional observatory for the East Midlands. It facilitates research coordination and promotes access to research and data on the region in order to inform policy-making.

Regional Economic Strategy
A Flourishing Region’ for the East Midlands is the third Regional Economic Strategy produced by the East Midlands Development Agency. The report sets out the aspirations and vision for the region over the next decade or so to 2020.

The East Midlands in 2006 is the comprehensive evidence base which supports and informs the new Regional Economic Strategy (RES). It comprises three main elements:
Sector Skills Council
A number of sector skills reports can be found on our sector analysis pages.
The analysis is based on Working Futures and National Employer Skills Survey 2005 data and looks at current sector structures, historical trends and forecast changes.
